The reason why Mama Safi began…Mama Safi’s testimony

God does wonders that human beings are not able to perform. I know this because I have a testimony. Before I started this ministry, I had a dream for three and half years where God revealed to me mighty and wonderful things. In my dreams I saw children who were crying for help. They had no food, no shelter and some were dying. They were following and running after me.

One day when I was going to Uganda on a business trip, I had a dream that the children were naked begging for clothes from me, and some were carrying empty plates and begging me to give them food. In the dream I heard a voice telling me to turn around and take care of my children and the voice then warned me that this was the last warning. I refused and continued going to Uganda. On the way we got into an accident. Many people died in the bus yet God saved me. When I was lying down I told God when you save me from this, I will work for you. That is how my journey of serving God’s children started. When I started it was not a smooth road. I sacrificed everything. I used all my money and I gave out all my household belongings. I even had to sell my car so that I could get money to take care of, and better the lives of the orphans. I was forced to move from a big house to a small house, so I could save the rent and spend it on the needs of the children. People laughed at me and thought I had lost my mind. I approached some of my friends to stand with me in doing God’s work but they refused. My friends and some of my relatives ran away from me.
It reached a time where I could not afford school fees for my own children. They used to be chased away from school because of a lack of fees. The little money I got I used it to take care of the orphans by buying them food, paying school fees and medical care.
My children did not understand why I was doing that to them.  There was a time in our small house after we had just moved in, when we were thrown out because we didn’t have the money to pay the rent. I also remember once when both my family and the children in the orphanage used to eat only one meal in a day.
There were so many stumbling blocks to discourage me but I didn’t give up. God’s favour was upon my life because I remember I went to my church, KAG Buru Buru and talked to my Pastor, Rev. Pius Tembu about what I was undergoing. I thank God so much for the KAG Church because they cleared the school fees for my children and also supported the orphanage home by donating food and clothes for the orphans.Unfortunately we need more support. My plee is for some one out to see beyond and share their love.Let us serve the world soulfully. The pay we will receive for our service will be in the currency of gratitude. God's gratitude. We still need help .We are in lack of blankets, clothes, food, books, mosquito nets and would be grateful if you stand by us.If people offer their help or wisdom as you go through life, accept it gratefully. You can learn much from those who have gone before you.I know i have learnt alot .“You get the best out of others when you give the best of yourself.
When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy. When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.
I would like to urge any one out there to stand by me and help these unfortunate children.and May God who sees in secret bless  AMEN.

These are the words of a  kind woman who is trying her level best to help these  orphaned children. They need our help.Ask yourself, what have you done throughout your life that has brought joy to someone. What is your role in this world especially if God has favoured you. Please lets us help these children.
